The Microsoft Extending Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is Microsoft's official exam for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Customization and Configuration / Microsoft Dynamics CRM Developer certification, positioned at the Professional level. It is the credential hiring managers scan for, and passing it proves your skills meet the vendor's own standard. It also links to related certifications like Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Applications, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Microsoft Dynamics CRM Developer, so this exam can serve as a building block in a longer certification plan.

Registration goes through the vendor's official channels:

• Pearson VUE (historical)

Worth knowing before you book: the MB2-876 exam is delivered Proctored onsite at Pearson VUE centers; retired since 2015, so pick the delivery option that works best for you.

The official registration fee is $150 USD, and you will need 700 (on a scale of 1000) to pass. Here is the part people forget: fail, and the retake costs the same full fee again — there is no discount for a second attempt. Drill with the 81 practice questions from PrepAwayETE until your scores are consistently past the mark, and only then spend that fee.

Yes — a free PDF demo lets you inspect the question quality and format before you pay a cent. Once you purchase, your Microsoft Extending Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 material comes with 365 days of free updates, and if that update period ever lapses, extending it costs just 50% of the price in your member zone.

The exam contains 48–81 questions to be finished within 145 minutes. That ratio is tighter than most candidates expect, which is why pacing matters as much as knowledge. Practice skipping and returning to hard questions, set yourself a per-question time budget, and complete at least two full timed mock exams in the PrepAwayETE engine so you feel the clock pressure before it actually counts.
